Maartje & Kine

While Festival Aangeschoten Wild was still young in 2010, we got to know Maartje & Kine. The duo, comprised of Maartje de Boer and Kine Handlykken, had reached the finals of the Groninger Student Cabaret Festival, after which they managed to make it to the semi-finals of the Amsterdam Kleinkunst Festival the year after. This year we can enjoy their presence again at the festival.

The shows of Maartje & Kine are always full of humor, clever puns and revealing truths. Musical talent is their trademark: while playing on one of their 11 instruments, they sing many witty songs. They admire everyday scenes and take a fresh look at the news.
